Fully activated cbd oil

Written by Cathy Rozyczko — Edited by Jason Brett on February 9, 2021

Fully Activated CBD was borne of a classic tenet of advertising: When you find something that works, you want to tell everyone you know about it. And that includes our furry and four-legged friends. With that goal in mind, the company produces a variety of small batch-made CBD oil products to help humans and pets deal. We love the caring philosophy behind Fully Activated. The brand fares reasonably well with our methodology and is close to earning the Safety Badge.

Fully Activated is the fully realized dream of founder Nick Russo, who began his journey toward understanding the natural potential of cannabidiol in the early 2000s while living with chronic pain and searching for solutions.

But Russo found the CBD oil he was experimenting with was not only helpful for his spectrum of ills. The potent potion seemed to help alleviate the battery of issues—including everything from skin and bone infections to emotional distress—that were afflicting the pack of rescue dogs living with his mother at the time, as well.

This realization was a seed of inspiration for Russo, who, disappointed with the “profit-first” approach of many cannabidiol companies, decided to start mixing his own CBD oil, made at first from hemp he had grown personally. He eventually switched to the organic, CBD-rich hemp grown by a friend and fellow cannabidiol enthusiast he met in Colorado.

The tipping point for launching the company was when Russo’s dog, Buca, who had been consuming CBD dog treats her whole life, died of old age. And to this day, the treats she grew up loving are a keystone of Fully Activated’s online store. (The CBD dog biscuits, made from ingredients any human could safely consume, are even gluten-free!)

Other pet- (and human-) friendly offerings include a range of CBD oil tinctures, coming in both the CBD isolate and full-spectrum variety, as well as in a range of strengths and sizes. CBD isolate powder, isolate and full-spectrum cannabidiol capsules, and a range of CBD topicals round out the large collection of products.

Ingredients for all items hit the all-natural mark, including in the CBD salves—which come in a range of regular, tattoo after-care, and burn care selections—CBD lip balm, and CBD roller, which we especially appreciate. And the Fully Activated CBD line is pretty affordable, to boot.

Fully Activated is doing a decent job with their testing protocols. We especially like the results for their full spectrum CBD tinctures! Lots of cannabinoids in there, even CBC, which we don’t see all too often.

Fully Activated provides potency tests on all their SKUs, which is a great start. But it appears they do not run contaminants tests for heavy metals nor microbiologicals. Until we can see proof of these tests, Fully Activated does not qualify for the Safety Badge.

Bottom line: Fully Activated comes across as a company sincerely interested in spreading the natural benefits of cannabidiol, and the range of thoughtful and all-natural products it offers further speaks to this goal.
